Human Services Reflection
As stated by the man in the video, a Human Services degree offers a wide range of opportunities in a variety of settings. Those considering a career in this field have a chance to make a difference in the lives of others while experiencing a sense of personal fulfillment, as well as, aiding people from diverse cultures. The man indicates he is a Christian and Christian’s have a calling to serve people that the world overlooks. Several aspects of this type of degree interest me. One is that I can relate to many situations that others are enduring (to some degree). I guess others would say, I have a soft heart for people that are suffering. Growing up, life was not easy; yet, I know that God uses these hardships for His greater good.
