In order to keep balance between juggling college, work, and family obligations I have set a schedule that I stick with weekly. I have the same weekly schedule for work, then I have an allotted time set aside each day for my school work and studies, and then there is the family time. I also spend wednesday evenings and friday thru monday with my fiance. By sticking with this schedule I do not get myself overwhelmed and I still get to do enjoyable things.
Please provide a brief understanding of your knowledge of the human services profession.
My understanding of the Human Services profession is anyone or agency that helps and assist in the need of others. This can be anything from, but not limited, to social workers, drs., psychologist, psychiatrist, case managers, program directors, aids, people working in the judicial systems and those who help the elderly and the needed. Not to mention those that work and set up shelters for the homeless, the hungry, and the abused.If What type of education is required and/or desired to work in the various settings in human services? *

    There are many types of helping professions. Social work, counseling, human services and, psychology fall into these categories. All of these professions work very closely with one another.
