The job market is immersed in a dynamic where contracts tend to disappear for life and the gradual progress towards employment flexibility. This forces us to be as well prepared as possible to cope with these changes and therefore is highly desirable to have a high employability.
Usually when companies seek candidates for a job still value a number of basic features such as: experience, a strong background and increasingly human qualities, especially communication skills, relationships with people and the initiative troubleshooting.
Improving labor skills are part of the way how it is possible to better employability of individuals in the workplace. The way people play in social life is a big part of the performance in the workplace.
The Employability Skills are essential both to find work and to keep it. Herein lies its importance, not only for those who are first inserted into the workplace, but also for those who have some time in the exercise of their profession, facilitating shuttling between different jobs. Developing these skills is invaluable, as these can be learned and perfected over time. It is important to note that the Employability is not just an individual issue, but also for all companies, since for example may help reduce the time taken to adapt to new post. Thus, the Employability can treat individual, company or both as a whole. This time, it will give an individual approach.
The concept of competence arises from the need to assess not only the set of appropriate knowledge and the skills and abilities developed by one person, but to appreciate their ability to use them to respond to situations, solve problems and function in the world. It also represents a look at the individual conditions and provisions which it acts, attitudinal and evaluative component (how to be) that affects professional performance results.
