Working closely with departments, increasingly in a consultancy role, assisting line managers to understand and implement policies and procedures.
Promoting equality and diversity as part of the culture of the organization.
Recruiting staff, preparing job advertisement, checking application forms, short listing, interviewing, and selecting candidate.
Developing and implementing policies on issues such as working condition, performance management, equal opportunities, disciplinary procedures and absence management.
Preparing staff handbooks.
Advising on pay and other remuneration issues , including promotion and benefits.

Prepares employees for assessments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs.
Maintains management guidelines by preparing, updating and recommending human resourse policies and procedures.
Maintains historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system, keeping past and current records.
Administering payroll and marinating employee records.
Analyzing training needs in conjunction with departmental managers.
Maintains human resource staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting and training employees.
