President Barack Obama has been pushing forward his agenda to free America from dependency on foreign oil and many people and opposing politicians believe that this is just unnecessary and will cost too much. I personally disagree with him because I think that it is an unnecessary task and it will cost a lot of money. I think that instead of wasting money on these new technologies he should be using the money on better things such as fun dings for schools and so on. I would say that I agree with the side of the public and politicians because there is really no need to go and spend more money on these new technologies when we are already receiving oil from the foreign countries.
In some ways President Obama does have a good idea of using these new technologies because then we would not have to depend on them or deal with the foreign countries but the issues are that it will cost too much money and is unnecessary when we already have suppliers. I think that the president should hold off and just continue to use the contacts that we are currently using to avoid wasting more money. President Obama should really take into consideration the thoughts and opinions of the public and politicians.
Some of the key habits that hinder my thinking, when looking at the opposing view are the fact that it would be costing a lot of money to run these new technologies and the fact that this money could be used for other more important uses. I think that the president is wasting a lot of money on unnecessary issues. At the same time that I disagree with the president, some key points that hinder my thinking about my view point are the fact that we could be independent and not have to worry about relying on the foreign countries to supply us.
