Hubble Space Telescope

The scientific name for the twinkling of stars is stellar scintillation or astronomical scintillation. The scintillation consists of the frequent changes of brightness and even of the color of the stars; in a telescope, the twinkle manifests with more vividness and the changes of color are more frequent and alive. The twinkle, obviously, disappears in the extraterrestrial space where the astronomical observatories located in the artificial satellites operate, with great advantages. The Hubble Space Telescope is not affected by the scintillation.
