The hospitality and tourism industry has been growing and developing very fast over the years. This assignment will discuss the challenges that are involved in managing restaurant operations that are specific to my state, as well as how the challenges will be addressed. Such challenges the restaurant industry faces are regulatory issues, social concerns, competitive issues and demographic and geographic issues. I am also determine in seeing the impact of setting computerization on the food service and lodging operations within my state, particularly in the areas of reservations, accounting, personnel management, and the recording of sales transactions,. In this we also discuss the factors like the , I’m also going to consider the quality of technology infrastructure in my state and the degree of technology usage by potential customers visiting or using these services within my state. I will be giving my opinion on all of these topics plus I will also analyze the interdependence of food service, lodging, and meeting segments of the hospitality industry and make recommendations for how the synergy between the could be improved, using examples from my state to illustrate my case. I will also explain how I believe these segments can improve their relationships between one another and how they can combine their services in order to be more marketable in my home state, and lastly I will Determine the likely consequences of the introduction of gaming entertainment into my state, or discuss my state already allows gaming, the impact of significant economic expansion of the segment upon other segments of the hospitality industry. All the restaurants over the world undergo many challenges. These challenges occur in different forms like political, social, economic as well as technological factors. These factors are very necessary to study as these external factors can also affect the business activities and also their performance accordingly. These factors can affect the overall performance of the restaurants and these factors are also important to study the other important tools like the Porter five forces, SWOT analysis etc. here are the factors described in detail:- 1) Political factors:-

a) The government makes continuous regulations on hygiene, food and also from time to time keep on checking the food standards. b) The economic policies of the government regarding the resturatn industry and multiple eating joints etc. these includes things like proper licensing which are certified by the food departments, regular inspections by the health and food ministry people etc, (Brooks, 2011) 2) Economic factors:

a) These factors are the rate that would clearly have a effect on the cost of capital, and the rate of interest which is directly balanced to the cost of capital b) The rate of inflation which determines the rate if remuneration of the employees and which directly affect the prices regarding the price of product of restaurant. The proportion between the inflation and the price set by restaurant are directly linked with each other. c) The economic trends which are evolving rapidly are seen as the profitability of the business in the chosen region that helps to decide the marketing strategy of the restaurant. 3) Social factors:

a) The eating habits of the people in the selected business environment also will affect the marketing decisions b) The most important challenge that the restaurant faces are the ratio of people who prefer to ear out often. Different people have different choice some prefer to eat out thrice in a week and some not even once in a month. So all this becomes a big challenge for the restaurants. 4) Technological factors:
