CHAPTER 1
1.0 INTRODUCTION
Computers are extremely important in the modern world of today. In the fast moving life of the modern world today, computers hold tremendous significance. Computer has become an important tool for keeping databases, filing systems, track records. Computers have brought about a revolution across all industries. They have changed the face of society. Computers are the best means for storage and management of data; they can serve as huge knowledge bases and can be harnessed for all sorts of financial transactions owing to their processing power and storage capacities. As computers are a daily utility, they have gained immense importance in day-to-day life. Their increasing utility has made computer education the need of the day.
The proponents chose, CDR King by means of the proposed system of the proponents, entitled “CDR King Inventory System”

1.1 Background of the Study

CD-R King is the first retail chain in the Philippines to offer one-stop-shop for the consumer’s complete media storage needs. It can bring to the end-users the best priced media and consumable products through direct-selling. Now has reached 100 branches nationwide; as it continues to uphold its vision of bringing people in the Philippines the latest technology at an affordable price. Their mission is to provide the latest technology at an affordable price without extra cost and also to be able to deliver up-to-date technologies to the Philippine market with the latest computer related products as well as computer accessories.
But now, CD-R King has grown from being just a media provider to a full grown technology provider with over 100 branches all over the Philippines.
If you are like me who likes to try out new things and prefer to buy them cheap, you have probably waited on the long line in one of their branches. However, almost everybody rich, middle-class or poor would like to save some money or be able to buy more with their money and patiently wait on
