Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is a leading provider of consulting and outsourcing services, with operations in more than 40 countries. While it offers a full menu of technology and business services, including business process outsourcing (BPO), enterprise systems installation, network management, and systems integration, the company specializes in developing and maintaining customized software for businesses. TCS has an attrition rate of 11% for IT and 20% for BPO and a utilization rate of 74%. The core competency of the company is its ability to efficiently recruit, train and manage IT professionals in the wake of high attrition rates.
