1. What changes must take place for the United States to become competitive again in the world marketplace.
To become competitive again in world marketplace the very first step is to know what is the competition. Try to understand their products and strong points of the opponents. By doing this US will get to know on what platform or with which countries they must compete with and at what level.
When there are changes in economic conditions the customer expectations may changes a lot. The key to this is to find out who is the actual costumer of this market and what are their expectation. And the key is to know what type of services and products customer wants, how much he is willing to pay for a product. According to all the above answer the

Selling into that category can increase the customer base and spread the name in the market. And they should know where to do marketing and which type of people they are interested in. They should not waste their time and money over the marketing for the people who will never going to buy their product.
The next and the most important thing is US companies should look for the future and plan according to that. Businesses that plan for growth are more successful than those that are happy to stay still. 1. There are many articles and testimonials that can be found on the web that can be useful in understanding the Baldrige Award model and its seven steps. Search the web and collect information on 2 of these companies to make an evaluation of their success, particularly in terms of quality and productivity, since receiving award.
