HR Planning At SENTEL Corporation

SENTEL Corporation

Section 1

It is safe to say that in order for any organization to grow exponentially they need some sort of business strategy to help them flourish. This strategy can only be developed in the heart of the organization, which is the human resource department; with a human resource management mindset. Human resource management is the department in an organization that deals with the management of human resources. Headed by a human resource manager, this department deals with employee matters like acquiring, appraising, compensating employees, and of attending to their labor relations, health and safety, and fairness concerns. It is therefore important that emphasis is placed on how to best match and develop an appropriate human resource management approach system of managing people. This only allows the anticipation of changes within the employee framework, and will ensure that the organizations objectives are fulfilled. This process is critical to the strategic objectives of the firm because if a firm is able to excel at creating a highly productive workforce through effective HR management programs, they will gain a competitive advantage. The human resource management practices has the power to influence the success or failure of an organization, so it is very important that these practices are well thought out and implemented by its employees. So with our in depth description of what is HRM, there was a company we thought displayed such values, SENTEL Corporation.

SENTEL Corporation began in 1987 as a small-specialized engineering firm dedicated to customer service, sound business principles, and high ethical standards. Today, SENTEL has over 390 skilled and talented engineers, scientists, technicians, and most professional personnel’s in the industry while remaining focused on core principles. They have consistently expanded upon the high-end technical capabilities that position them as an award winning leader in core areas of spectrum and electromagnetic engineering, test engineering, and technology integration by never losing sight of the fact that their first priority has been and remains customers. From that brief insight on the company it will be clear to understand why their mission statement expresses what it does:

SENTEL’s constant reevaluations and assessments of improvements allow us to better support and serve our partners. This level of partnership is what our customers have come to expect and deserve.”

It is easy to see that SENTEL values building and creating long-term relationships with their customers. Building that trust will provide the company with more credibility, which always generates more revenue.
