Being able to use a program like PowerPoint to express ideas with words and pictures is a great way for various types of learners to understand information better. Using pictures, graphics, animation, and text styles also makes the slides fun. In your textbook, there are General Project Guidelines which should be considered when developing a PowerPoint project. These guidelines are recommended as a general formatting aid, to assist the presentation developer in achieving successful audience communication. Please address the following as a part of your discussion:
Name 3 General Project Guidelines that you find useful. Why are these guidelines considered so essential to any PPT presentation? Feel free to draw from sources beyond your text. The three guidelines I choose are the ones I use the most. I determine the purpose of a project. As to say why am I doing this project. Another guideline I use is to gather all possible content. You need to get all the information you need to make a good presentation. Furthermore, I determine what information to use in a presentation. The information needs to be in the right order. Recall Simon, the student who is new to computer use. Since Simon is also new to PowerPoint, what are some rules you can share when incorporating pictures and graphics into slides within a presentation? Well, Simon you need to make sure your pictures are clear and centered in the right position for your presentation. Sometimes you can use word art in your presentation to spice it up a little. Which three features of Microsoft PowerPoint would be most helpful in Simon's experience as a student and as a worker? Simon, you might find that the word art to be one feature that will be important. You may also try the design tab.
