In the comic “I demand Euphoria,” by Bill Waterson, and illustrator from drawing comics, says “ Happiness is not good enough for me, I demand euphoria.” Many people would agree with this statement, however happiness is something people have to find in life. In addition to this, the article “There is More to Life Than Being Happy,” by Emily Smith, a writer for In the Atlantic says “Happiness is about drive reduction. If you have a need or desire like hunger you satisfy it, and that makes you happy.” In other words, you can not demand happiness, you have to work for it to truly be happy when you are satisfied with your life. Another thing said in a documentary entitled “happy,” they talked about something called the Hedonic Treadmill.
