how to write a proper speech
when writing a speech that you are to present in front of a class or group it is very important to have these things. first layout, you want to have a introduction, body, and closing. the introduction would be like introducing yourself and shortly stating what your speech is going to be about. the body is where you are going to talk about the subject in many different ways shapes and forms, you are to give examples maybe tell stories about the subject or mostly just your point of view and where you stand on the subject. now the closing is where you are going to pretty much sum everything up, restate the question or subject and your point of view on it and some things you can get brownie points on would be maybe throwing in a quote that of course has something to do with the subject and very shortly and funnily explains why you choose your stance. now when presenting your speech here on some tips on how to serve it to your class or group properly and more confidently, stance is very important: you need to relaxxxx and keep a straight posture at the same time of course... bend your knees a little just don't be sitting on the floor, you want to relax so you don't pass out because when you stand up and tighten up it reduces blood flow which causes you to pass out easier or vomit. another tip is voice variation you don't want to talk like the Charlie brown teacher that will bore you to death do you. so you know when talking about different things or joking every so often change up your tone a little to lighten the mood you know. then you want to have as much eye contact as possible but I understand it is hard due to you are reading of a paper so your eyes are on the paper, so that is where you want to remember some parts of the speech so you can look up often to make sure you haven't bored your audience to dead

What I think I did well about the way I delivered, was that I used an audience to shake my hand. I was showing the audience how El Salvador salute each other. I was making some eye contact with some of the audience, and my vocal was loud enough for the audience to hear me. What I would like to improve upon with regards to my delivery is to have a lot of body movements while give the presentation.…

For the oral presentation, the first thing is to work out what are the things that need to be said and by definition the things that do not need to be said, i.e. rank them in order of importance. Then sort out a logical sequence. When you do your first practice, ask yourself whether it made sense – feedback from your peers can also be useful.…

When I watched my presentation, I saw how I started with a strong introduction with a rhetorical question. I by saying “Who would you call? What would you do? How would you handle the situation? All these questions may be hard for you to answer in your crisis. I got the answer to clean up the mess you got yourself into.” Also, I give the audience a vision by saying “Let’s say your life is being broadcast all over the media or maybe even your company. We all know One of your biggest fears would be getting caught in a scandal or having a bad rep.” You got all part of my introduction to the greeting, thesis, credibility, and overview. I also, had the personality to my speech when talking you could see how enthusiastic I was to the audience. This made my speech be interesting and not dull and my voice a great projectile for everyone in the class to hear. In my speech, I had great eye contact so I had the attention, keen interest, and understanding for my classmates. None verbal communication is “Behaviors, symbols, attributes, or objects—whether intended or not—that communicate messages with social meaning.” In my body of my speech, I provided information in chronically order as my overview. A big portion of my life I was a very secluded and quiet kid from middle school into freshman year of college. Being put in a class where all your assignments, quizzes, and tests were all based on your ability to speak to others sounded like a nightmare to me. Lesson after lesson I learned how to avoid plagiarism, the multiple parts of a speech, and even how to avoid speech anxiety. When it was my designated day to speak, even with all the information taught, it was the worst speech given that day due to how timid I was talking. As the days went hearing other people give their first speech helped me to understand something, that I was not alone. There were others in the class that were as bad or worse than I was at delivering speeches. After the initial speech my confidence for myself grew as I prepared for the speeches throughout the…

What I believe I did well on was link the proverb with the speech and told a story that relates to it. The story was about how I tried skydiving for my first time, and was nervous for it. But after doing it I ended up liking it. Also I believe I did well when it came to looking at my note cards. Only looking backs at it a couple of times and always tried to make eye contact with the audience.…

To keep an audience’s attention and to effectively get a main topic across, a format should be followed. The format is going to consist of an introduction. The introduction works as an ice breaker and gives the audience an idea of what you will be speaking about and if done correctly will grab their attention. Following the introduction will be the main body of the speech. Your ideas and points will be delivered in this portion. The final portion of your speech will be the conclusion. The conclusion will wrap up your main ideas and restate them to the audience. Upon completion of the conclusion your ideas and main points should be well understood. If the outline of a speech is followed, your ideas should flow easily from one to another. Not following a general format can confuse you and your audience.…

Preparing myself to face my first speech to a large audience, I’m going to extend to come off as if I’m going to be confident and try to do my best as in not sending the audience an opposite message. The strategies that I’m going to use to control the butterflies in my stomach are the pacing method. With the pacing it is going to the nervousness away from me. Also while presenting my speech I’m going to listen to the audience to make sure they are enjoying it and not getting bored or the opposite approach of it. Another strategy I’m going to use to better help me with my speech is to have an good sense of humor while reading my speech that way the audience can come off as being comfortable with me. Lastly the strategy that I find greatly important is to kind of memorize the speech while presenting it that way I won’t have to keep looking down at my paper too much; I will generate good eye contact with the large audience to make them feel front-page and very cheerful at the same time. The steps that I believe I would need to take to become an better listener is give good eye contact because when looking at an person as they speak you generally hear everything they are saying. Another strength that would help me become a better listener is to talk less than I’m actually listening to the person speak and to also challenge assumptions. I believe that it is important to challenge the assumptions certainly because in order to get what you need to know from someone and to also make good decisions about what you have heard you have to have listen to the speaker. My prior weakness that I do while listening to a speech is having additional things distracting me while listening to a speech and that causes me to get sidetracked. I affirm that to make me become a better listening I should give the speaker a clear view and open ears to listen to their speech because I extremely would want the same thing in return. My most important thing that I would want to strength in is to…

As I learned in a public speaking class and through substantial experience giving classes in multiple places and audiences during my recruiting assignment, I made sure to use proper class teaching and briefing techniques like avoiding word fillers, excessive hand and body movement, also avoid the use of distracters like eating or drinking and used the slides as an aid to my briefing not as the main substance for it.…

I thought me standing in front of the class and talk was great, because I do feel comfortable doing that. I like to discuss topics that interests me and things that I know about, and in this case I knew that I had a lot of information and I know how to delivery that while I am speaking to other people. I wish I had a bit more props and things I wanted I was not able to get, a visual would have helped my presentation in a big way. I think in any classroom or a lesson, having a visual is always a great way to get people interested in what you are talking about, it gets their attention. Getting creative with your planning of lessons or presentation will not only benefit the people who are listening, but the individual that is presenting. It makes you feel prepared, on top of things, and comfortable with what you have to show. I think that I did a lot of additional research and had great statistics to get the students attention, and I know that I did teach the a few new things that they did not know. I think I have a great personality where I can talk in front of people and make them laugh, but even I had to practice at home a few times going over what I was going to say. Practicing your speech or lesson, especially as a few teacher, will help you feel confident in what you have prepared. Also to go with that, if you have a time limit like we did, make sure when you are practicing to…
