How To Write A Monologue Of Charlie
Today I was talking to Charlie, he said something that made me so sad. These two men named Joe and Frank make fun of Charlie and he actually thinks they are his “friends”! I can't believe that someone could be that sick. If they actually got to know him they would know that he is sweet and caring and lovable. The other day Joe and Frank invited Charlie to meet up at the local bar, Muggsy’s. They told Charlie to buy newspaper and a coffee from them, when he came back they was no one there. Joe and Frank ditched him! How rude! Even worst that ditching him, they beat him up till’ he was black n blue. Why would someone do that. Why would someone treat him like an unwanted animal.

For the set I think that it should look like a school, because in the students stories the main point is focused around the school. Either they were at school when the plane crashed into the World Trade Center or they talked about the school Brooklyn Tech that they had to go to for a while while it was unsafe to go to Stuyvesant. In the script it said that the actors don’t leave the stage at all. It would be cool if they were all sitting in a classroom or in a courtyard, like we have at DSA. For each character’s monologue, there should be a single spotlight shining down on them, I think that would be really cool. For the costumes, each character’s appearance is described right before their monologue. For example, for the character Jennifer Suri, who is an assistant principal and Social Studies teacher at Stuyvesant, they describe her as “thin, with long red hair... pulled back with a barrette... She wears a blouse, a long flowing skirt, and heels you can hear clicking quickly down the hallway from several rooms away” (pg 199)…

One of the most important issue that Daniel Keyes wants to convey is mistreating people with mental disability. In this story, Charlie believes that Joe and Frank were his friends and believes that they liked him; however, Joe and Frank were using Charlie for the sake of their own entertainment by misleading him to do which aren’t healthy, for example, mixing drugs or dose of medicine in his drink, leaving him alone in the night time, and later lying that the police had beaten him up. This shows us how people who don’t have mental disability try to take advantage and mistreat those who have one. In our real world, everybody isn’t nice, people try to lure each other for their own sake and advantages; additionally people like to make fun of disabled people and belittle them for whom they are, just how the people at Charlie’s work did.…

    I Am the Cheese Monologue

I am confused. My name is Adam Farmer and also Paul Delmonte. I witnessed my mother and father murdered which truly makes me the cheese. I’m scared every time I think about them. I don’t want to speak about them but I fear I must to conquer the feelings. I knew my mother didn’t have any friends and my father told me that we had no family. My mother spent most of her time in her room and would have a phone call every Thursday evening and it would last a very long time. I didn’t really know my parents very well. They were mysterious to me. It was as if they were hiding myself from me, if that makes any sense. They used to whisper about me in their bedroom, with the door shut. I heard what they were talking about and I realized that they had been lying to me about my identity. My father almost caught me listening in but luckily he didn’t because I panicked and ran away before he could open the door. (1 minute) I was too scared to confront my parents about what I heard them talking about. I thought about telling Amy, my girlfriend, about how weird my parents are but I was scared of what type of opinion she would make of my family. Amy is someone who doesn’t take life too seriously. I think that she is the opposite of me because she isn’t ever afraid and she doesn’t panic, unlike me. I hate people that try to act like they are really tough, luckily they are usually stupid. There were a group of bullies that tried to take my bike and my package away from me. They weren’t clever enough to figure out that I left my bike with the police and they chased me to the police station where I rested for a while because they wouldn’t dare come near me then. Amy’s mother and my mother are also different as my mum stays home all day and her mum spends most of her time outside her house. I am afraid of a thousand things, a million. Like it is to be claustrophobic and yet fear open spaces too. I panic when I try to call Amy from a telephone booth and every time I come across a dog it…
