How To Write A Letter To Cpl Ethoria
CPL Echevarria I have already given you my expectation initial counseling as your platoon sergeant in 2nd platoon and have already noticed that your performance needs some adjustment. This counseling is to inform you that your next actions will not be tolerated any further. During the MTC field exercise I moved a new soldier into the barracks one of the rooms that was free for new incoming soldiers was your living quarters. Your personal was unsecured and not to standard you had empty pizza boxes sitting on your desk. At this time you had already been at MTC for a week this means that your trash was sitting out for multiple days which is not the standard of a soldier or a leader in your position. This also shows the new soldiers that they do not have to …show more content…
The next incident that I personally counseled you on was you being late for first formation. I am listing this incident again to inform you of a pattern that I am noticing. CPL Echevarria, which leads us into the present time incident 9 March 2017 you, release your section during the LPD without guidance, which was a mistake in itself. The problem was you told SSG Cavendar and myself that you did not know where they were at like they left on there on when you made the decision yourself. You also told me that SPC Willis was sick and that was the reason you let her go but I asked her over the incident the following day. She informed me when I talked to her that was not true and that means you lied to a noncommissioned officer not once but twice in the same infraction I will not accept or tolerate that from anyone in this section in a leadership position. My last infraction I will cover is that I told you not to leave without doing your monthly counseling’s and you did. I reminded periodically during the week that you needed to get on it and even gave you pointers on what to counsel your soldiers

Sir, I have not had the chance to extend you my appreciation for your guidance and tutelage upon arrival to Naval Hospital Bremerton. There is nothing like feeling valued within a command. You gave me several directives upon arrival: 1. Bridge the gap between the Comptroller and MMD; 2. Ensure that the Asst. Department Head receive some good Materiel training and good mentorship; 3. Get involve within the command; and 4. Look for educational opportunities that would be of benefit to attend.…

At times it can be very difficult to point out a problem because of fear of getting into trouble. Bringing the issue up of my guys getting sick to leadership was a bit of a challenge because the Marine Corps do not like weak leaders. Leadership expects professionalism out of the squad leaders and they must depend on squad leaders to make good sound decisions. When I looked at the issue at hand it was a no-brainer I knew I would probably look weak but I was making a smart decision. If I wouldn’t had made a decision to prevent my guys from getting sick there would have been a lapse in security and that was an issue that was unacceptable to me and my leadership. Expressing the problem to my leadership gave me the confidence to go through with the plan and feel like I did the right…

SSG Bob on 23 Sep 05 I had received a phone call at 1410 hrs. from SGT Bill stating that he had come into some money and that he had known that I was wanting to get some additional equipment for OUR SRT. SGT Bill stated that he needed myself to come in and type up a letter of justification and if I could also have SGT Jones come in as well to assist in writing this letter due to the fact that SGT Jones had been placed in charge of training folders. On notification of this I was on the phone notifing my soldiers of where they needed to be and in doing this I had also asked SPC Man if could also inform you of what I had going on in case he had seen you before me, but his telling you was not going to be your only notification, nor would I have left it at that. SSG Bob I figured after you knowing me for almost 2 ½ years you would know that I would not do something like that. SSG Love you also twisted my words when you asked what came first the Squad or SRT. I told you SRT comes first and that was my belief. You then told me you did not "give a shit about my beliefs". SSG Bob when you came onto the SRT I told you that the Team needed 100 percent dedication to it because we are working up a brand new team, and as being a member of OUR team I figured you would have that same desire and dedication to it. So when I got this call for new equipment why would I think anything else other than this; "wow we are going to get some good equipment, CPL Smith make it happen for us" but instead in rush of the moment you were notified of the situation the best way that I could think of at the time and instead of having concern for the equipment, you were upset that you were not notified any earlier, even after it was explained to you that I had just found out.…

During the academic year of 2004-2005, I was on the immediate staff to the Secretary of the Army, Dr. Francis J. Harvey. I had a very tedious work schedule (12 hour shifts) which caused me to be in the office more than at home. During office hours I was unable to work on my class assignments and by the time I would get home, it would be late and I would be in the process of getting ready for the next day and trying to make up time with my husband and daughter. During the mist of all these things, my husband and I started to have problems because of my lack of time with the family which caused a strain in our marriage. I soon realized that…

Joining JROTC in high school was the greatest decision I ever made. The program has developed me as a high performing individual and as a strong leader. I was appointed Deputy Corps Commander my senior year, but when the school year started; AP classes, volunteering for my church, and my application to the Air Force Academy also became my priorities. My responsibilities doubled and my workload tripled. As the senior leadership of the program, the decisions we made had an impact on every cadet. The problem that I was faced with was the group commander was not fulfilling her responsibilities. So at this very moment, I was given a choice: sacrifice everything and focus on fixing my unit or do all I can for my responsibilities and hope for the best. I knew I couldn't do it all by myself, so using my leadership skills I brought the crop together and faced this…

    Military Training Process

This unit or squadron was unique, because I was only there due to a severe injury on my leg that required a major surgery. The first few weeks I was getting acclimated to my surroundings and I began meeting all the different department heads and personnel in the unit. This squadron was considered a training squadron, because pilots come here to recertify their status as pilots, learn to operate newer technology, become test pilots for military defense projects or become flight instructors. The unique thing about this organization is that it was comprised mostly of senior personnel and there were very few enlisted members in the unit. In my first month at this unit I realized that there was very little communication up and down the chain of command. There were a few instances where I had gotten information after an event had been scheduled or already occurred. The fact that my department worked directly for the public affairs officer made this even more disturbing. The biggest problem I noticed in this unit was that people had…
