How To Tell A True War Story

I have chosen to write this log on Tim O'Brien's How to Tell a True War Story. I myself have read, or watched depending on the medium, other story's that attempt to tackle the same issue. That issue being whether or not it is possible for someone to tell a "true" war story without having experienced war themselves. I do not believe anyone who has not actually been in a war can write a war story that is entirely true to life. However, so long as whoever attempts to write a war story does everything to make sure it is as accurate as they can make it to real war, then I believe it could be considered a true war story even if the events of the story never actually
