Essay: How to Solve Energy Crisis
Outlines:
a. Introduction b. Reasons c. Continuous Waste of Energy d. Ways to Solve Energy Crisis e. Conclusion The growth of human being has travelled a long journey. It was the greatest achievement of primitive man when he discovered fire with the help of a stone. With this human history moved very fast. Later on a number discoveries and inventions were made which changed human life completely. Energy is such a great invention which made our life more and more comfortable. It has become most needed necessity for us. It has created a crisis also. Energy crises are a big problem in Pakistan. The reason behind this is the lack of good leadership, illiteracy, excessive use of fossil fuels and other political issues. Now, in these conditions the only way of survival and to overcome this problem is that we stop blaming and relying on the government or other private energy sector’s policies and start thinking to solve it by alternative methods.
These alternate energy recourses are hydropower, solar, wind, waste, biomass, etc. A lot of energy goes to waste due to our own fault. When we are in homes, schools or offices, we do not mind to switch off the fan when we do not need it. We never turn off extra lights. Similarly, in schools, when we go out of the class, we never bother to turn the lights and fans off. Thus, we can say that our own cons are leading us to this catastrophe. Now, I would like to enlist some solutions to this burning issue. Keeping in mind the rising population and requirement of energy, it is best to start to think about saving energy. By taking some minor steps, we can save energy by unplugging the appliances that are currently not in use, switching off the lights while leaving the room and turning off the fans when fans are not needed. Secondly, we have to limit the use of non-renewable energy resources in order solve this problem. The renewable energy resources have to be

During the course of a year, our energy consumption needs can change due to several factors. With the implementation of telework in many companies, our gasoline consumption can be reduced by working from home several days a week; by eating out more often, we can reduce our energy consumption from not cooking every day; our heating/cooling energy consumption might increase due to working from home several days a week; our energy consumption for computer use may increase due to working from home several days a week and this would…

There are many ways to conserve natural resources, all we need to do is look around and find a way to minimize the usage of natural resource that we using everyday. For example, turn off the lights when we leave the house; minimize the waste produced by buying less packaged goods and reusable products, and recycling. These are little things we can do to help, and these does not take much effort to do; however, if everybody does the same, we can still make that difference. In the big picture, we can consider using more renewable natural resources such as hydro-power and solar-power. These energy resources are the best ways to conserve natural resource such as fossil fuel. Fortunately, many energy conservative products have been invented: hybrid or electric cars and energy-efficient home appliances. These are the reflections of people’s concern towards the natural resources depletion. On the whole, we need to start do our share to conserve the energy and resource as part of our responsibility to the natural…

A way of preventing this happening is by using renewable energy. This means that the source of energy won’t run out and it is sustainable for future generations, unlike fossil fuels which have a limited supply. They produce little/no greenhouse gases which is much better for our environment. Forms of renewable energy include solar energy, hydropower, biomass, biofuel, geothermal energy and most importantly wind energy.…

Many people are debating how to best meet energy needs in the United States. Some argue that the country must decrease its dependence on oil and invest in alternative sources of energy. The United States use tons of oil daily witch tends to be very expensive. Many people believe that to best meet energy needs would be to find alternative sources, such as wind, and solar power. The simple fact is, renewable and alternative energy should be a major investment for everyone. Energy conservation can result in increased financial capital, environmental quality, national security, personal security, and comfort. Individuals and organizations choose to conserve energy to reduce energy costs and promote economic security. However, Industrial, and commercial users can increase energy use efficiency. We must therefore learn to not only cope with but quarantine and fix climatic issues. One of the techniques with seems to be the most popular one advocated is the use of renewable energy. This is any energy resource that is naturally regenerated over a short time scale and derived directly from the sun (such as thermal, photochemical, and photoelectric), indirectly from the sun (such as wind, hydropower, and photosynthetic energy stored in biomass), or from other natural movements and mechanisms of the environment (such as geothermal and tidal energy). Non-renewable energy includes energy resources derived from fossil fuels, waste products from fossil sources, or waste products from inorganic sources.…

Humanity has been progressing ever since men have harnessed the gifts of nature: fire, wind, electricity, water, among others. Fire had been used since early humans ruled the land to keep them warm at night and defend them from wild and dangerous animals. Modern humans who have the ability to think efficiently have harnessed the power of the wind in transportation and even in generating energy. And electricity had been used to power up every machine used in different human activities.…

Thus, hasty solutions to a given problem may create more complications rather than solving it. In the recent past, countries have been expanding their energy budget presumably thinking that energy expenditure was the only way to development, but today the perspective has changed. One of the greatest challenges facing poor countries is to meet their energy needs without repeating the mistakes made by the rich countries. A goal of reducing national energy expenditure, if pursued rigorously, can lead to a strong emphasis on energy efficiency, improve economic competitiveness, and limit oil dependence.…
