I: Introduction A. Attention Getter: Over 491 billion Oreo cookies have been sold since they were first introduced, making them the bestselling cookie of the 20th century. Its most recent packaging slogan is Milk's Favorite Cookie. B. General Purpose: To inform. C. Specific Purpose: Today I am going to demonstrate how to make Plain Oreo Balls and Oreo Truffles D. Thesis Statement: These recipes are very simple and easy to make your own and decorate. E. Establish Credibility/Relate to Audience/Goodwill: I’m not an expert in cooking or baking but this recipe is very simple to make and have been making it for over seven years F. Preview Main Points: There are two different types of Oreo ball recipes that I will demonstrate that are Plain Oreo Truffles, and Chocolate covered Oreo Truffles.

Transition Sentence: The first recipe I will go over are the Plain Oreo balls I found this recipe in an article within the Tuscaloosa News. II. Body A. Main Point 1: The first thing you want to do is go to the store and buy (1) pack of Oreo cookies, (1) 8 oz. package of Cream cheese, and a roll of wax paper.
1. The other component in this process is a food processor but if you don’t have a food processor you can use a hand mixer 2. The first step is to use the food processor to blend the cream cheese and Oreo cookies. 3. Place both cream cheese and all Oreo cookies into the food processor 4. Next cover the top and blend it until mixture becomes a dough like texture. 5. Then take a piece of wax paper and put into a container 6. Scoop a teaspoon amount from the food processor. 7. Now start rolling into a ball using your hands. And place them into a container 8. Lastly put lid on container and you can either put them into the freezer or refrigerator depending on your preference.
