How to Make Oreo Stuffed Brownies
Purpose:
At the end of my speech the audience should be able to properly bake Oreo stuffed brownies.
Introduction:
Picture yourself at your next family function. It’s a holiday and everyone has been waiting all day to see what desserts will be set out. When a tray of brownies is placed on the dessert table, many hands will reach out and unsuspectingly grab what they believe to be a normal tasty chocolate treat. Imagine their surprise and delight when they take a bite and discover an Oreo hiding inside. Today I’d like to show you how to properly bake these Oreo stuffed brownies. I found this recipe online at pedersenfood.blogspot.com, where Michelle Pedersen has posted over 150 different recipes. These brownies won me 1st place out of 42 entries in the last cook off I entered, which is where I received this apron and oven mitt. I will be going over what ingredients are used, how to prepare these brownies, and finally how to bake them.
Central Idea:
Oreo stuffed brownies are easy to bake and can add excitement to any dessert table.
Preview:
I will be demonstrating the proper way to prepare the brownie mix, how to coat the Oreos, and finally how to bake them together.
Body:
I. Ensure the kitchen is properly set up for baking. A. Make sure that all surfaces are wiped clean before beginning to bake. B. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
C. Gather all of the ingredients needed, making sure you have measured out what needs to be measured. Different brownie mixes ask for different ingredients. I chose Betty Crocker Dark Chocolate fudge brownie mix, which require ¼ cup of water, ½ cup of vegetable oil, and 2 eggs.
D. Pull out a few cupcake trays, and spray them generously with cooking spray to ensure that the brownies do not stick to the pan. Cupcake trays are ideal for this dessert because they create the perfect single serving.
Signpost: Now that everything has been setup, let’s move on to preparing the brownie mix.
II. We’re going to prepare the

For the ingredients you’ll need your favorite brownie mix, soft butter to grease the pan, two eggs, ¼ cup of water and ¾ cup of vegetable oil for cookware. You’ll also need a metal or glass pan 13”x 9” and a mix bowl. Next, preheat your oven to a temperature of 350F. Grease the bottom of your glass or metal pan with the soft butter. Then put the brownie mix into the mixing bowl. Put the oil in first and mix it in with the brownie mix and stir with a spoon. Next is the egg; put the eggs in the bowl and continue stirring the mix some more. After that is the water. Put the water into the mix and stir. Keep stirring until the mix is blended well. Pour the mix into pan and spread lightly and evenly until all of the mix is in the pan. Put the pan in the oven and set the timer for 30 mins. Once the brownies finish baking, refrigerate for 15 mins or until set. Then cut into bars using a knife coated with no-stick cooking spray.…

The first thing to do is to round up all the needed ingredients. You’ll need about 2 ¼ cups of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, a teaspoon of salt, 2 sticks of butter that are softened, 3/4 cups of granulated sugar, ¾ cups of packed brown sugar, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, 2 large eggs, and a bag of Nestle Toll House Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips, which I prefer. Then you’ll have to dig up a 15 x 10-inch jelly-roll pan, a small mixing bowl, a large mixing bowl, a hand-mixer, and a can of Pam to spray your pan. Once you have the ingredients and the pan is prepared, it’s time to preheat the oven to 375 degrees.…

After you have all the graham crackers with marshmallows lined up on the cookie sheet, bake them in the oven for 4 minutes. Make sure to leave room between the s’mores, as the marshmallows will swell up slightly in the oven and you will end up with an ooey-gooey mess! Carefully remove from oven and immediately place the chocolate bar on top of the marshmallow; press down to spread the warm marshmallow to the edges of the graham cracker and to imbed the chocolate into the marshmallow. Top with the other graham cracker half. Leave of the still-warm cookie…
