HOW TO LEARN ENGLISH?
Good morning to everyone present here. I feel greatly honored to stand here before you to give a talk. I will be talking about how to learn English. My talk today will centre on the topic of ways how to learn English.
First of all, you need to learn English slowly like a baby. Start by listening and speaking. When your English is good you can move on to reading and writing. This way you are improving slowly.
Next, attend an English class or discussion group .Attending a class is the best way to focus on some of the more formal aspects of speaking English. A class will teach you grammatically correct way of speaking. Attending a discussion group is more informal and relaxed way of learning English, where the emphasis is more on communication and relationship-building than speaking correct English. This help you to be more comfortable and brave speaking in front people .Both of these have their pros and cons, it’s best to attend both if you can.
Moreover, carry a dictionary with you might become in handy. It doesn’t matter is an actual book or phone app dictionary .Having a dictionary means, you never stuck for a word. It can also save you from embarrassment if you’re having a conversation with an English-Speaker .As a beginner you should start with an English dictionary that provides in your native language. However, once your language skills improve, you should switch to using an English-English dictionary, which provides English definitions for English words.
Furthermore, listening to English radio or English songs .An English radio like Hitz FM. This is the fun and relaxing way to learn English but don’t just listen to it, make notes for the words you don’t understand the meaning and look up translation afterwards .On top of that, pick an English songs that you may enjoy. There is no point of learning English through songs that you don’t enjoy .This is the fast track boredom. Avoid listening to rock songs because the
