This is practically murder. If you were to wait 3 weeks after knowing you're pregnant the baby already has eyes and their spinal cord and the developing brain has 2 lobes. 7 weeks after fertilization nerves and muscles start working together if the child's upper lip is tickled the arms move backwards. 9 weeks after fertilization 90% of the body structures are developed now the term embryo changes to fetus, this means that the child now is effected from the outside. All these stages proves that they are human beings. Why punish the child when you are the one that caused it. A lot of people who are for abortion, say that it is not a viable life until it could survive outside the body. With today's technology, babies are surviving outside the womb as early as 20 some weeks. Another disturbing fact, is when a pregnant woman is murdered or dies, it is considered a double homicide. If the abortion of an unborn child is not “murder” or killing of a life, it wouldn't be considered a homicide. Many abortions now are given not by the mutilation and suction out of the woman's body, but by a pill that disintegrates the child, organs, and developed tissues and

Three hundred forty seven babies died since 1973. That is three hundred forty seven humans that could have found the cure of cancer, but because of abortion they never got the chance to. The baby is innocent and has done no wrong. The world got mad at Adolf Hitler and the Nazi because they were killing innocent Jews, but why doesn't the world get upset at the mothers that are killing their own innocent children? Also the baby is a living being. A baby's heart starts beating 18 days from conception. It starts beating at about 3-4 weeks, you won't hear it until around 8 weeks. The baby is also defenseless so therefore it can not protect…

    Pro-Choice of Abortion

Nearly all abortions take place within the first trimester of the pregnancy. Within that time, the fetus cannot exist outside of the mother’s tummy. It is attached by the umbilical cord, and therefore depends on the mother’s health for survival. If it cannot survive on its own, the fetus is technically not a person yet, and being a living person is very different from the concept of human life…

Abortion is the killing of an unborn child, or in other words, murder. The unborn child is in fact a living human being. Although some may disagree that the baby is living while in the womb, it can be proven scientifically otherwise. Erick Eckholm in the New York Times online quoted Dr. Eric Webb, an obstetrician, who said, “With the union of the egg and sperm, that is life, and genetically human.” It is human at the moment of egg and sperm coming together. Rob Schwarzwalder similarly explained in his online article on Family Research Council, “The zygote is composed of human DNA and other human molecules, so its nature is undeniably human and not some other species. . . It is also quite clear to us that the earliest human embryo is biologically alive. It fulfills the four criteria needed to establish biological life: metabolism, growth, reaction to stimuli, and reproduction.” He makes the argument very clear that when the sperm and egg fuse together, a new entity that is distinctly human becomes alive and an individual. He also discusses that the new human zygote has a genetic composition that is different from any other human, including the mother (Schwarzwalder). All of these facts contribute to the fact that this baby is not just an extension of the mother’s body alone, but it is a new and unique human being. Mary Balch bluntly states in her article online for USA Today, “The fetus, in many cases, dies just as a human adult or child would: It bleeds to death as it is torn limb from limb.” When you decide to abort, you are technically killing an irreplaceable living person.…

Is Abortion really murder. Give about 266 days after conception and see what emerges from the womb. It will be a human baby, not a horse, a fish or an honey badger. When a human egg and sperm unite, the result is a fetus. Within 3 week you can hear a heartbeat. At 4 weeks you are able to pick out facial features, arms and legs. Nerves and brain waves are in place by eight weeks after conception. At 12 weeks breathing of fluid for oxygen. So is this a fetus or a human? That is still up to interpretation. Legal rights have stepped in but, yet they are broken all the time.…

There are two different viewpoints on abortion. Pro-choice and pro-life. Let’s start with the easy one. Pro-life means that a person is completely against abortion. The pro-life viewpoint is the belief that abortion is considered taking the life a human, which would mean that life begins at conception. People may have this viewpoint for religious values, or even their personal moral values, and believe that abortion for anyone is wrong. Pro-choice is a little bit harder to describe. It doesn’t mean pro-abortion, it literally concerns the word choice. People that are pro-choice believe that it is a person’s personal decision as to whether or not they get an abortion. Somebody may be completely against abortion personally, but may still be pro-choice because they believe that it is a person’s decision and that right should not be…

Abortion is a controversial issue affecting our society. At the present time abortions are legal. However, there are groups of people who would like this to change. Popular belief among pro-choice coalitions is that abortion is a matter that should be decided on by the mother; however, abortion in its truest sense is the termination of a human life. As a society we must set clear boundaries about this issue or else we will be ending innocent lives or we will face women having abortion as a substitute for birth control. Both sides provide very strong and debatable opinions, which leads to a frenzy of controversy. Abortion should be illegal because abortions are immoral, they contradict many religious teachings, and abortions are a large health risk to women.…

Abortion is a very touchy subject with very little middle ground. Every year around one-million developing fetuses are aborted for various reasons, usually financial problems. While technological advancements in medical science have made abortion a simple step to avoid unwanted pregnancies there are still negative repercussions. Abortion, specifically late stage abortion, should not be accepted by our society because the fetus can feel pain at 20 weeks, abortions are thinning the population of minority groups, and the child is never given a chance.…

"One method of destroying a concept is by diluting its meaning. Observe that by ascribing rights to the unborn, i.e., the nonliving, the anti-abortionists obliterate the rights of the living"(Rand). The meaning behind this statement is powerful and the speaker is trying to surface the need for concern of the living when regarding abortion. Although the nonliving should be considered when contemplating an abortion, the primary focus should be on the mother. Abortion is the termination of a pregnancy and is becoming an increasingly volatile issue; a topic that almost everybody has a stance on. Abortion opponents or “Pro-lifers” believe that the fetus is a human being at the moment of conception, and abortion therefore is murder. Those against abortion also agree that the government should have control over a women’s body and forbid her to have abortion. On the flip side, “Pro-choicers” argue that the fetus is only a potential child, and not a human until the moment the child can survive on its own. So, the rights of the self-sustaining, living, mother overpower the rights of the dependent fetus. Abortion should be an available option to women throughout the United States. Especially since in some cases it’s an option that separates life and death.…

Some say there are so many excuses for abortion, but none of them make sense! It is you who decided to have sex, thus, therefore, you must take responsibility for your actions. Sex is for making babies! Nothing else! And I am very sure you already have that knowledge. So at least, practice safe sex! One excuse is that the mother can’t handle her baby financially and it would be too much work. Well, let me ask you, ‘would you be so heartless to kill your baby just because you can’t handle it?’, ‘would you…
