HOW TO BE AGOOD STUDENT?
There are three important things if you want to be successful in your field. First of all, you must have passion to do all of your work. You will face such boring situation in your daily routine such as; lecturing, assignments and so on. Don’t let the laziness breakout all of your plans! It is hard to maintain the spirit, but don’t give up. Keep fighting and struggling.
Second, people who have talent are able to do things well than people who don’t have it. That’s should be matched between talent and interest in order to maximize your study. How wise if you consider that before choosing a certain department.
At last but not least, you have to discipline yourself to reach your goals. You must obey the rules, order in the class and control your behavior, especially the relationship with your friend. Respect your lecturer and try to attend all of the class! Don’t miss the subject because of an important reason!

College is a competitive environment; in order to success in it a student needs certain skills. Those skills can only be learned. A college professor mentioned that there five basic rules that need to be followed in order to become a good student: study, do all the homework and the assigned reading, attend class, and, most importantly, develop self-discipline and time management 1. In the following lines, a detailed analyze of those different steps will be done. So, let's get started.
First, we mentioned study. A good student has to do study everyday. Study involves reading the textbooks, understand them, be able to explain it to others and sometimes memorize the most important concepts. As a creature of habit, it is important to have a special place and a special time to study. A good student will try to find a peaceful place and also try to study during those times that he/she works best. While studying, a good student can also use this time to do the homework and assigned reading. They are, most of the time, the application of what is covered in class. Personally, I study every day between the courses hours at the school library. This helps me to go over the last course I had, the next one that I would take and also do my homework.
Then, we also mentioned the necessity to attend class regularly. There are two important reasons for that: it will help in learning the material and also in getting familiar with the instructor. Knowing the instructor is really important especially in preparation for the exam. It will help the student know what to prioritize when studying. The textbooks are usually large. The lecture giving by the teacher usually is a summary of the textbook. When revising for the exam, it will be a lot easier for the student to cover the material.
Finally, we also mentioned the importance of time management and self-discipline. A student will manage very well his/her time by identifying best time for studying,

One thing in this article, I think especially useful is the examination skills. Professor Leamnson said that “the absolute worst thing you can do is to fall for the crazy notion that the way to prepare for an exam is to compress it all in the last 12 to 18 hours before the test, and keep it up right to the very last minute (Leamnson 11).” It is exactly what most of the college students acting in school. MY first strategy I think is very useful for my college career is one of my own “Setting Priorities”. Setting priorities is as clear as it sounds. This is useful for someone who seems to slack off in urgencies, and give in to less important concerns. For example I would have school, work, and soccer as my main priorities, but I would get distracted playing video games. I than set certain amount of time for my main priorities each week making it a schedule. I would set for school double the amount of class time as homework/studying time off the class. As work goes, it is the same weekly schedule which coordinates with my class meetings. For soccer I would train three times a week two hours a day. I set the time for my training after I’m done or on a break from my school work, and regular work. So after setting my priorities to a schedule I know what my other less urgent concerns are, such as video games, surfing the internet, hanging out a lot with friends. This strategy has helped me set my life to limit on certain things to accomplish and remember what my goals are. For instance, a day I was tired from work and did not want to go to train and started to play video games. One hour into it I realized that I was wasting my time on video games, when I could’ve been training for soccer, trying to accomplish my goal to make the 4 time…
