How The Times Are A Changin
“The Times They Are A-Changin’” Oh how The Times Are A-Changin’. From the 60s to present day, it is like a whole new world. For instance, the three novels The Watsons Go to Birmingham, The Red Scarf Girl, and excerpts from the novel While the World Watched all show how different life was from the 60s. These novels show cultural attitudes, politics, and social norms.
A clear difference between The Red Scarf Girl and the 60s is that this time period shows that there was a “red” and restricting government.This Novel shows how a young girl struggled and how she was treated unfairly from her family background.
