How Stressful the First Year of College Can Be?
Showing you what it is like entering the first year of college. Have you ever been in a situation where school can be stressful in many different aspects? I found out being prepared has its likes and dislikes. Here's my experience on time management, financial, academic, also social life stress. One thing you must know is when I receiving a acceptance into the college my life was just begun to be stressful. The first problem that comes to mind is financial aid. Financial aid provides you with the ability to continue your education at a college within your choice but, what I didn't understand was how the aid was being process to help me. As an example, the college I attend was like taking trips back and forth, It was quite of a distance. Some of the papers that they asked for was either incomplete or certain information was missing. Knowing the United States of American money requires for the best education. After twenty days, I was accepted. Now with all the problems behind me I have completed the first step in college.

In addition, academic work can make a student also be stressed out. Many student worries are about earning a high score in test, quiz, also classwork. My experience in earning a grade has been stressful, because certain teachers make learning hard even if the work is a simple step. For example, there was a teacher whose teachings was very different, instead of showing the fastest way to complete a problem, he chose the longest way. I think the reason why is because of the school in his country, and the way he was taught. Now I have graduated from stress into more stress which is college. During three weeks of college, all I have receive is more and more homework, also essays. In one of the class, my teacher gives out quizzes everyday, then she talks about mid-terms, finals, testes. She says, if you do not get a high score on your testing quizzes, finals you will fail. I think the teacher would like to see someone fail, because her statements are broad.

A third reason that contains stress is my social life. Social life for me is having fun and also going out. Many student have no time towards their school work. A average college student sees their social life first before their school. Why? Because peer pressure comes about every student in school. For instance, I enjoy going out with my friends. My friends and I always leave from school around three o'clock and never get home until four in the morning that's what happens when you are pressured into staying out late. After I have my fun, I feel exhausted trying to wake up in the morning. As you can see coming home late is one of the main factor as for me and other student. What we do not realize is there is a time for having fun. Students end up not having enough studying hour because of their social life. Everybody knows if you are in a relationship with someone you take time out to please him/her.

My last cause of stress is time managing in your school and activity work. Managing time is one of the toughest assignment to deal with. Student should manage their time knowing how to put aside their social life and their school activity. It has been five years I have never manage my time to a certain day for a specific activity. I feel as though, it is not necessary to manage a time for activity, because I usually let things flow into position. For example, when I leave school I hangout with my friends. It comes to find out my homework is due the next day, I'm in trouble because the day is almost over and I have not print down my name to start, but you see I end up just writing anything down and wish upon my grade (like I'm doing now) in many times It ends with a grade satisfactory.

To conclude, for all the reason which was stated can help you to have a vision on what to do and when to overcome this situation when you are getting into college.
