In diffrent situations I would have different prefrances upon communcating vei Face to face or Online. In a soscial since I would opt to communcate vie face to face. On the other hand Communcating vi Online is aproprate for bisiness.

I belivie that having the Netiquette policy in an online learning environment is important Because when people are trying to learn they do not need rude people, also the environment should stay profesonal at all times.

Scenario Five (Last Name S - U).
Carlos M. asked for help on a math problem in the “Ask Your Instructor” forum. The instructor replied, and this was Carlos’ follow-up response:
I’m sorry, but that answer doesn’t make any sense AT ALL. Why is it SO difficult to understand stuff in this class and get a clear answer? This is a load of crap.

I am going to list the Ashford’s Netiquette rules that Carlos Violated.
1. Shouting
2.Impatience
3.Disrespect
4.Offensiveness
5.Inflammatory Behavior

The advice I can give to Carlos Is to review Ashford’s Netiquette rules to be more aware of how to go forth with replying to post. Also, he needs to have a bit of respect for somone that is there to help

In addition to cost and minority expression, CMC has a number of other advantages. CMC addresses time constraints as asynchronous technologies (with a delay between sender and recipient, such as email) allow users to communicate at any time and location with access to the technology (Dietz-Uhler & Clark, 2001. Moreover, CMC holds promising implications for recruitment. Generally speaking, Dietz-Uhler and Clark (2001) argue that CMC is a practical alternative to face-to-face communication, as participants report it to be enjoyable, effortful and valuable.…

Face to face communication is the main source to getting to know new people. Relationships that you are able to build using social media tools are great but nothing beats then talking about it in real life face to face conversation. Without face to face communications we would not be able to have close friendships and relationships than we would if face to face communications were eliminated from our lives. Face to face communication with people is beneficial for it can boost confidence, build better relationships; and help us develop social skills.…

Many problems arise when people communicate over the internet. In fact, over the past few weeks, with our class communicating via email and GoogleSites, I encountered a few obstacles. It was difficult to process all the information being sent out. I was wary of reading every single post because it was just so much information. I certainly thought it was a great way to really see how computer mediated communication affected relationships. The interesting thing is that my generation is so keen on using facebook, twitter, myspace, etc. But when it comes to something like email, it feels disorganized or confusing to us. When it came to the GoogleSites, I found it difficult to navigate through everything. I rarely check my email and really just use it to send junk mail to.…

Abstract Introduction What is Netiquette? Or what do we mean by netiquette? To state it as simple as possible It is the network etiquette or internet etiquette, certain rules which a user is required to follow on the cyberspace in order to sustain a well online social environment or better to say social life. To state the matter differently, Netiquette is a set of rules for behaving properly online. Human cultures are different and each ethnic has its own values and customs which are different from each other, and when we join a new culture we are demanded to obey and understand them as soon as possible in order to prevent the misunderstanding and offending which might come along. The same apply for cyberspace environment, internet has its own culture, and you might offend people unintentionally. Or might misinterpret other peoples speaks and take the offense. Above all, in online world it is easy to forget that we are interacting with other real people. “The word "etiquette" means "the forms required by good breeding or prescribed by authority to be required in social or official life." Etymologically, it comes from the French word for "ticket." If you know the etiquette for a particular group or society, you have a ticket for entry into it” (Virginia, 1994) If we want to live in a society, we make effort to get to know the culture and custom and ages while we will be familiar with their particular habits. In fact, sometimes when we are in Rome, we do as Romans do to reduce the flaming and conflict. However on cyberspace it is really hard to commit the same common practice since people are from different cultures and each culture has its own customs. The internet is where all of people around the world gather together and interact with each other and are aiming to share information and in a way to live together in a virtual world. Over this space there are many communities with different rules but almost all of them at least some common rules. And these…
