How My Culture Has Affected Who I Am
Throughout my life, my culture has affected who I am. I am a first-generation Guyanese-Jamaican-American. As a result, I have been exposed to different cultural food, dances, clothes, and music, arts, and beliefs. My various backgrounds influence how I learn, live life, and behave in specific situations. My culture views education as one of the most important things in life. This belief has instilled the desire to work hard at the University of Central Florida and make my family proud of my accomplishments. My environment was another important factor that shapes who I am. In typically American family home, the mom, dad, and the children lives there. My brother and I lives with my cousins, uncle, and aunt in one house. Being under one roof
