Her reasons for her actions was caused during her visit to Angola, South Africa. While her visit, Diana herself met victims of land mines at the International Red Cross. She saw what was caused and how severely hurt these victims were. Some were from the young age of 6, with no arms or legs. \'93She was a really good touch with our patients,\'94 said a Red Cross orthopedic technician. Many were along with her decision with banning land mines, but in order to fulfill her request, they would need to negotiate so they aren't used in the future. Princess Diana walked through a mine field to raise awareness. All of the media was towards the land mines in Angola when she visited. Princess Diana had gave them hope when she visited and was determined that everything there, would be changed for the better of their
