How Is Macbeth Fair
In the play Macbeth by William Shakespeare it was portrayed from the thought of “Fair is foul, and foul is fair”. In act 4 I was surprise Macbeth went back to the witches after getting everything he wanted Thane of Glamis, Thane of Cawdor, and King. As he was asking for more information Macbeth spoke rudely to the witches in which I feel like he should humble himself because if it wasn’t for them then he wouldn’t be in the position he is in. When Macbeth came to knowledge that Macduff came bring harm to him, I know what Macbeth was feeling. You go so far just for someone to try to take you down. In that moment I wasn’t surprise that he went after Macduff family although I know it’s not right. In the scene when Malcolm and Macduff come together

    With the thought of being King of Scotland, the only thing in his head, he knows now that the prophecies could only be good. However, as said in the beginning of the play, "Fair is foul, and foul is fair: hover through the fog and filthy air." Things that may appear harmless and pure may be destructive and tainted. Macbeth is one example. He was "too full o' the milk of human kindness" that he would never have let anything make him become what he is now. After hearing the first set of predictions, he goes to see the witches in Act 4, Scene 1, to ask for more of their predictions and advice. After a first warning, "Macbeth! Macbeth! Macbeth! Beware Macduff beware the Thane of Fife." Macbeth is greedy and demands more. The second apparition reassures him that "for none of woman born shall harm Macbeth." This contradicts the first apparition but Macbeth comforts himself with the idea of Macduff not being able to kill him.     A significant event in this story was when Macbeth murdered Duncan. This struck uneasiness throughout Scotland and some people feared for their lives. Malcolm and Donalbain especially were afraid because they believed; “There’s daggers in men’s smiles.” (Act II sc (iv), ln 165) Banquo’s murder is a fearful moment as well. Macbeth orders murderers to kill Banquo by saying; “Who wear our health but sickly in his life,/ Which in his death were perfect.” (Act III sc (i) lns 119-120) Macbeth is the cause of his innocent friend’s death and he does it purely for his own benefit and personal gain. Macbeth is shown to be a noble and honest man in this play, but like any other man, something can corrupt the mind, and in this play, that is greed. The three witches in this play are the ones that get the little fire in Macbeth going. When Macbeth runs into the witches, they start the idea of him becoming the next king. He somewhat believes them because they told him "Hail to thee, thane of Cawdor" , which indeed he did become (1, 3, 50).
