How Is Lennie Different

In the book ‘’Of Mice and Men” Lennie seems very different from all of the others.
Lennie is a very interesting character. He may be different from George and the other workers, but he sure does make up for that with his incredible strength and his ability to listen and obey directions. It also helps him stay alive, for the most part. In both the movie and the book lennie is said to be very strong , which he is, but because he is so different from all of the other workers, he does not know how to control his strength. Since lennie he is not like many other workers he does not act the same. Lennie is a man of many different actions. Some bad, some good, and some are just completely unordinary. Even though george does not make it seem at times that he does not want Lennie around, he really does. Lennie may not be the same but if George did not have him he most likely would have maybe a better life but it would be boring without him.
If lennie did not have George he would not live near as long as he does. Even though he gets killed at the end, it is because George knows then when lennie gets out he will just do the same things that he did. George tells Lennie what to do because he knows that if he yells at lennie that at some point he will get that what he did was bad and he would learn. Lennie does not understand that when he commits a bad action he will have to pay for it. At the end of the movie Lenni is killed because he commits murder trying to get Curly’s wife to quit screaming because he would not let go. George is the one who kills Lennie. Lennie did not understand that his actions have consequences and at times you have to pay for them, but what is bad for him is that because of his disability he does not know what is wrong from
