Have you ever heard of General George Washington? Here is some information about him. He was a patriot, so when war broke out with Britain, he joined the military. He was also an amazing leader, so he became the commander in chief of the Continental Army during the war. After the war ended he became leader of the committee that wrote the Declaration of Independence. 2 years later, he became President of the United States of America.

    Although it was very gelid, the Continental Army kept on fighting, and because of this, defeated the Hessians quickly. Only two American soldiers died, and this was because of being frozen to death. This fact shows how dominant the American soldiers were by surprising the Hessians. In effect to winning the battle so quickly, The Battle of Trenton was a turning point in The American Revolution. The total dominance of the Americans gave lots of motivation necessary for the Continental Army to win the war.     He was a war general for the British-American war and a General for the French-Indian war. He was a very neat dressed man alway in his military uniform and that is one of the reasons why he was picked to win the British-American war.
