How Has Technology Affected Time

I will be analyzing how technology has affected time and how it has helped our society advance by using numerous inventions. “To us, for example, the moment 8:17 can mean something – something very important, if it happens to be the starting time of our daily train”(Huxley 715). It has affected time by making our daily life more efficient by using different forms of technology to reduce the amount of time it takes to complete a task and increased the use of automated machinery. Technology has revolutionized modern time by helping society make advancements in medicine and computer technology, although there have been some negative effects of technology, the new medicinal procedures, benefits of making efficient machinery, increased food production and efficient methods of transportation outweighs the negative.
Technology has helped us excel in medicinal practices by aiding us in finding new medicinal procedures and practices. “Around 1 in 4 people who are hospitalized for heart failure don't last much longer than a year. Perhaps Heart disease is one of the most common diseases throughout the world. Finding a drug to suppress the effects of it is very helpful and the advancements in technology has allowed us to find that pregnant women produce it during pregnancy which can help us save many lives. Finding ways to test the medicine also required different types of technology, many will argue about the illegal testing of medicine and hazards that can occur during a surgical procedure, but there are ways to counter the consequences of both.
