Reflections from Self-Assessment Questionnaire
For the answer that am I entrepreneurial, to complete the questionnaire would give a basic picture that which type of myself I belongs to. Questionnaire divided into few parts and focus on different traits. For part one, which is focus on entrepreneurial attributes and also test how likely want to work with stable and predictable environment. 4 stages divided and I belongs to the lowest score level which mean very low level of self-evaluation as entrepreneurial.19 or below belong to this class and I score in 18. Obviously I lack of entrepreneurial attributes result in not suitable to be entrepreneur. For example some leading skills or wish to lead, creative, responsibility to take, etc.
Part two is to compare how likely I belong to more typical of entrepreneurial minded or want to work in stable. And I finally got -2 point. Consistently, the result match with part one and same result in very low level of self-evaluation as entrepreneurial. This is very extreme I think because result in negative two got 19 score difference with just above level. Like working stable is not a problem, people do not like to take risk is self-deference that protect myself away from threats and dangers.
Part three is test for how likely to be self-employed or be employee. My answer is being a employee. I would consider lots of factors that being employee or self-employed, for example the capability, the knowledge, and so on. Based on present, I prefer to be employed to earn what I need include precious experience, network, knowledge and other

This course is for students who want to explore the challenges of running and growing an entrepreneurial company or a division of an established firm. We start by looking at the most basic question. Can the firm grow; should the firm grow? Since growth is a choice, we will also look at the trade-offs between aggressive growth and what venture capitalists call "life style" businesses. We will also look at the importance of identifying opportunities for new product development and responding to competitive threats.…

Employing clear language, the authors employed the instrument of questionnaire in their work. The authors based their study on the well documented core self-evaluation theory. Their sample size is 1100 with both genders well represented. The samples also cut across a wide range of professionals and people with different educational trainings. The large size of samples controlled for bias in respondents’ educational training. The 12-item scale was used to measure CSE and the authors scored the variables examined on a range of 5 (strongly agree) to 1 (strongly disagree). Entrepreneural attributes were also measured from strongly agree to strongly disagree. The authors carried out two hyphoteses testing to confirm their findings. Entrepreneurs are often contrasted with managers and administrators who are said to be more methodical and less prone to risk-taking. Such person-centric models of entrepreneurship have shown to be of questionable validity, not least as many real-life entrepreneurs operate in teams rather than as single individuals. Still, a vast literature studying the entrepreneurial personality argues that certain traits seem to be associated with entrepreneurs:…

Vince de Ruiter – 341219vr specific in my opinion. People may have the qualities required without having been an entrepreneur. I consider an assessment to be more a suitable measure for “entrepreneurship”. The other criterion is “fit”, by which is meant the human element that matches the company. This is a very good criterion, as the course textbook shows that people who fit the job and company are more likely to identify with their job, which ultimately leads to an increase in productivity. Thus, the criterion of fit is critical for both employee and employer to help determine future success. After the…
