How Does William Shakespeare Write Today?
Have you ever wondered who is the writer behind “Hamlet” and “Romeo and Juliet”? The writer is the famous writer William Shakespeare. William Shakespeare is considered the greatest writer and playwright of all time. His works were versatile, ranging from romance plays and sonnets to more tragedy works. He is well known for writing his very own plays and sonnets and acting. Shakespeare wrote a grand total of 37 plays and 154 sonnets. His plays have been produced more often and in more countries than those of any other author (Applebee 983). William Shakespeare shaped the way we write today by coming up with creative ways to make his writing brilliant. Shakespeare was born in April 1564, in the town of Stratford-Avon, England. Theorist believed he was born of the Twenty-third but there are no records proving he was born on that exact day. William was baptized at Holy Trinity Church on April 26, 1564. John Shakespeare and Mary Arden were the parents of William. Shakespeare attended Stratford grammar school. “Like all such schools, its curriculum consisted of an intense emphasis on the Latin classics, including memorization, writing, and acting classic Latin plays” (Folger 2018). For around two decades, Shakespeare had multiple roles in the London theater as an actor, playwright, and a business partner in a major acting company, The Lord Chamberlain's Men.
