How Does Theo's Character Shift Into The Archetypal Anti-Hero?

Throughout the film, Theo’s character shifts into the archetypal anti-hero because of Kee and her pregnancy. Without the level of compassion and responsibility Theo held towards Kee, he would have been more hesitant to follow through with helping. Theo’s compassion can be compared to a mother’s sense of care, seen through him risking his life to save her. Since Kee does not have any known family, Theo becomes one which creates a deeper bond between those two that would not have excited without the extenuating circumstances.
