Rotary kiln refers to rotate calcined furnace (known as XuanYao), belongs to the building materials device class. Rotary kiln press materials handled can be divided into cement kiln, metallurgy and chemical kiln and kiln. It is mainly used in metallurgy and chemical kiln steel metallurgical industry lean iron ore magnetized calcination, Chromium and nickel and iron oxide calcination, Refractory plant calcination high aluminium vanadium and soil ore and aluminum plant calcination clinker, aluminum hydroxide, Chemical GeKuangSha and chromium ore pellets such minerals. Kiln (namely active linme kiln) for calcination steel mills, ferroalloy factory with the activity of lime and light burning dolomite.

The most important part of rotary kiln is cylinder, general rotary kiln specifications and by barrel length and diameter size and regulation. The cylinder body have refractory bricks and used in the insulation materials and cylinder. General kiln shell body centerline and ground is horizontal becomes certain Angle. Cylinder support is through supporting device to finish. Cylinder incoming end has preheater, discharging end has kiln head. Nozzle in kiln head end. Its function is to give material heating, thus making the material thoroughly oxidation. Cylinder outer end has big gear, it and pinion links. Motor drive pinion gear drive, small again big gear, realize cylinder driving material stir, make the material oxidative, to achieve the ideal of chemical reactions.

Its principle of operation is as following:

The kiln is a cylindrical vessel, inclined slightly to the horizontal, which is rotated slowly about its axis. The material to be processed is fed into the upper end of the cylinder. As the kiln rotates, material gradually moves down towards the lower end, and may undergo a certain amount of stirring and mixing. Hot gases pass along the kiln, sometimes in the same direction as the process material (co-current), but usually in the opposite direction...
