How Does String Theory Work?
Intro
String theory is the first theory of physics that tries to explain everything. What does it mean to explain everything? We would know how the universe began and where it is going.
Quantum gravity
Modern physics has two basic scientific laws: quantum physics and general relativity. These two scientific laws represent radically different fields of study. " Quantum physics studies the very smallest objects in nature, while relativity tends to study nature on the scale of planets, galaxies, and the universe as a whole." (http://www.dummies.com/education/science/physics/the-basic-elements-of-string-theory/ 2016). One string, no particles
According to string theory, the subatomic particles that make up all matter- protons, neutrons and electrons- do not exist. Instead, these particles are replaced by small pieces of vibrating string too small to be observed by the technology we have in this century. Each string may be closed in a loop, or open as a line.

To put it simply, string theory is like a guitar. A guitar is tuned by its tuning pegs stretching the strings of the guitar, and depending on how much tension is in being put on the string will determine the sounds each string makes. String theory is similar. How many dimensions are there?
In total string theory estimates to have 10 dimensions. The first four dimensions are: length, height, depth and time. The fifth dimension is theoretically a world very similar to our own with similar atmostsphere and landscape The sixth dimension is a plane of possible worlds with the same start conditions which majority of scientists believe to be the Big Bang Theory.

The seventh dimension is similar to the sixth dimension but is a plane of all possible worlds with different start conditions which are unknown The eighth dimension is a plane of All Possible Worlds, Each With Different Start Conditions, Each Branching Out

The most basic description that is universally understood, would be, that matter is made of atoms. Now in today’s “enlightened” world, this would be too simple of a statement to make categorically. It becomes necessary for us to take into account the advances in atom science and be able to qualify our statement. We must further state, that though matter is made up of atoms, they are no longer the smallest particles of matter. Let us begin a journey through time to be able to appreciate our understanding, of how the concept of the “smallest particle of matter” has changed over time. The first modern day proponents of the atomic theory…

Quantum physics is the study of all physics that is smaller than an atom. It has been notorious for being one of the most confessing concepts of our universe. One quantum physicist, Richard Feynman even went as far as saying, “I think I can safely say that nobody understands quantum mechanics. To better understand Quantum physics it is best if one thinks of it as having a separate universe from ours with that universe having a different differ laws of physics. The laws of physics that we see in the world around us behave, as you believe them to. Objects can be in only one place at a time, things in motion stay in motion, and On this quantum scale matter acts differently as it would if it was on a normal human scale. Particles could be invisible, go threw solid objects with ease and even be in multiple places at the same time. This might sound insane these principles of Quantum Mechanics are apply to many different forms of technology in our world. For example, there are high-tech computers now called “Quantum Computers” which store millions of times more bits of information and could process information almost instantly. Hands down the most incredible thing concerning quantum mechanics that it proved to us that consciences physically…

Fractal geometry is a structure that provided a new key for the study of non-linear processes (Lauwerier). Benoit Mandelbrot explained that lines have a single dimension, plane figures have two dimensions and that we live in a three dimensional spatial world (Fractals Useful Beauty). In a paper published in 1967, Mandelbrot investigated the idea of measuring the length of a coastline. Mandelbrot explained that the shape of a coastline defies conventional Euclidean geometry and that rather than having a natural number dimension, it has a “fractional dimension.” The coastline is an example of a self-similar shape, which is a shape that repeats itself over and over on different scales (Fractals).…
