How do we keep employees focused, motivated and energetic when everything's lousy (White, 2008)? What really makes organization successful and prosperous? Does motivation plays a great role in employee performance? According to Joo, Jeung, and Yoon (2010) performance has been one of the most extensively researched concepts in the field of human resource development (HRD). A work performance is usually depends on employee's level of motivation and state of mind. HRD can enhance performance while increasing the value and potential of the individual employee, because performance is a desired consequence of human beings' freely chosen behavior (Swanson & Holton, 2009). In other words, internal aspirations, values, and determination are impacting job performance. Moreover, passion about the profession, focus on getting the maximum financial reward, and realization of the importance and necessity of performed tasks, are major motivational factors that play huge role in the successful work performance. Another example of motivation is an employee willing to help his or her co-worker to learn a complicated task just to help company to succeed, please the management, and passion to teach/train/coach showing his or her competence. According to Joo, Jeung, and Yoon (2010) several job aspects influence an individual's work outcomes. Job autonomy is one of the key components that influences employee's work performance. The job autonomy gives an employee the ability to make an important decisions related to the assigned tasks, which eventually leads to job satisfaction and motivation. According to White's research (2010), the core self-evaluations and job autonomy related to job performance via intrinsic motivation. The intrinsic motivation is the motivation to perform job to gain personal satisfaction. Job satisfaction is determined by not only its content, but also by work environment.
