How Did Walt Disney Influence The World
Walt Disney lead a very interesting life as a famous pioneer as many different things. He showed many people how to fight for what you want and always follow your dreams. Walt, with help from important people in his life, never gave up on his dreams. Walt Disney influenced the world through creating a kind of culture compared to today’s normal rut. He won many awards in his life, with little education, by letting his imagination lead him. Because of that, he easily influenced the world by encouraging people to open up and not be afraid to let the world see them for who they really are. Walt Disney did not have much education as many people thought. He attended McKinley High School in Chicago, where he took drawing and photography classes. At night, he took courses at the Chicago Art Institute. When Walt Disney was sixteen, he dropped out of school to join the army. However, because he was underage, he was rejected. So instead, he then served as the driver of an ambulance for Red Cross. In 1919, Walt moved back to Kansas City and started working at the Pesmen-Rubin Art Studio where met Ub Iwerks (JustDisney.com ). In 1920, he found employment with Kansas City Film Ad Company where he began making commercials from cutout animations. This is where he got the idea …show more content…
He died on December 15, 1966, at the age of sixty-six. At the time of his death, his enterprises had brought him respect, admiration, and a business empire worth over $100 million a year. Walt was cremated, and his ashes interred at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Los Angeles, California. Walt Disney did more to touch the hearts, minds, and emotions of millions of Americans than any other person did in the past century. Through his work, he brought joy, happiness, and a universal means of communication to the people of every nation. He brought us closer to the future, while telling us of the past.
