How Did Tesla Change The World
Over history, billions of persons have existed around the globe. However, out of the numerous people, only handfuls have undertaken procedures and innovations that draw universal acknowledgment and admiration. In such a way, through innovation and development of ideas, such characters have drastically changed the world. Born on July 10, 1856, Nikola Tesla forms part of such individuals who have influenced the globe in a particular way. Tesla was a brilliant Serbian inventor who made significant inventions in the fields of both mechanical and electrical engineering. Moreover, as a physicist, inventor, and futurist, Tesla designed the contemporary alternating current system used in electrical systems. However, he had a letter that introduced him to Thomas Edison. Edison was at the time a renowned businessperson and inventor who developed and supplied direct current electrical systems around the country. Over the following few years, the pair worked together but eventually parted ways after developing irreconcilable differences. Tesla incorporated the Tesla Electric Light Company after he parted with Thomas Edison. Evidently his interest in the alternating current system motivated him to obtain funding for his company. Moreover, Tesla filed patents for the inventions in the alternating current system successfully.
Furthermore, Tesla utilized the funding provided to develop an induction motor that used alternating current as power. His eidetic memory and genius mind helped him formulate a working alternating current system whose power could run the engine. At the time, various companies in Europe and the United States had commenced utilizing alternating current systems. Significantly, the alternating current power systems were reliable in the transmission of high voltage power over long distances.
