Even before being enrolled into Homestead High School in 1979, Steve was always viewed as an “intelligent and innovative” thinker. His test scores in elementary school were so high that school officials at Monta Loma recommended that he skip two grades, his parents however made the executive decision that he only skip one. In high school Job’s met Bill Fernandez, a neighbor that shared the same interest in electronics. Fernandez then introduced Steve to an older electronically savvy whiz kid by name of Steve Wozniak. Following high school graduation in 1972 Job’s attended Reed College in Portland, Oregon.
