The first president, the one who returned the idea of bringing back conservatism to the United States, was Ronald Reagan. His first objective was to improve the nation’s economy, so when he was elected in 1981, he immediately began to uphold his promises he has made during the campaign. In order to do so, he has raised a program,which was later embraced as “Reaganomics“. His idea was based on on the theory of supply-side economics.
