How Did Martin Luther King Define Courage

The Man Who Defined Courage Marches, speeches, fights, and death that one man has done for equality, who might that be? Dr. Martin Luther King has done so much for equality. He has participated in marches, wrote a famous speech called, “I Have Dream,” fought without using violence, and even died for what he believed in. Dr. Martin Luther King is the most courageous man because he stood up for what he believed in, even though others did not agree with him. To begin with, Dr. Martin Luther King was a powerful leader who lead many marches. A famous march he lead was “ The March on Washington.” The march was for jobs and freedom for blacks, that involved 250,000 marchers (source: The March On Washington Article). Dr. Martin Luther King was powerful because he was able to lead 250,000 people to Washington to speak on racial equality and jobs. While Dr. King was leading the march, he stopped at the Lincoln Memorial to give his famous speech, “I Have a Dream.”
