How Did Martin Luther King Change The World

He was killed for having a dream. He dreamt that one day everyone, no matter what color, could walk into a store or a restroom without labels. His name was Martin Luther King Jr. King wanted everyone to be treated equal. This made people of different races mad. Many people believe King was one of the huge reasons for segregation to end. But the question is, do you? I know I do. The events that took place and what he had done for them make me have reason to believe he changed the world as we know it.
King was successful from the start. “King entered Morehouse as an early-admission student at the age of 15.” (Morehouse College King Timeline). He even received the bachelor of arts degree in sociology and then continued his education further at the Crozer Theological Seminary. After, King attended the Boston University School of Theology. Later, KIng received his first ever honorary degree from Morehouse College. For many years King devoted his time to Morehouse
“One of the most memorable highlights of King’s career was a speech delivered on August 28, 1963”(CBN). King believed in something more than just skin color. He believed one day people would finally see that we’re not so different and that it’s okay to use the same places and to be treated equal. King decided to devote most his time to make that happen. He participated in walks, wrote and performed speeches, etc. King even won a Nobel Peace Prize for all of his work he put into making things happen.
In conclusion, Martin Luther King Jr was one of the huge reasons for segregation to end. He put a lot of effort into making sure people were treated equal and he should be remembered for that. Not only did he change the world, but he also saved people. He saved people being neglected or hurt because of these laws that didn’t really make any sense. King was truly a hero and deserves to be remembered for all of his time and hard work he put into something he believed
