How Did Hitler Become A Dictator
Have you ever wondered what Hitler was like before he became a dictator? Well I am here to tell you just that, how he became dictator, and how he lived the rest of his life. Adolf Hitler was born in Austria, on April 20, in 1889 as the forth son of six children. His parents' names were Alois Hitler and Klara Polzl. Adolf would frequently fight with his father because his father wouldn't approve his interest in art instead of business. Then suddenly Adolf Hitler's father died in 1903 for unknown reasons. In 1905, Hitler moved to Vienna and became a watercolor painter. He tried applying to the Academy of Fine Arts twice; however, he was rejected both times. As he was running low on money, he lived as a homeless person for several years of his life. During World War 1 Hitler tried to join the German military, He was later accepted in august 1914. He mainly was away from the front lines, but he was there during many major battles. Later at Somme, he was wounded but recognized for his bravery by the military and was given the Iron Cross First Class and the Black Wound Badge. In 1918 Germany …show more content…
Even though he failed twice, Hindenburg made him chancellor of Germany. Now that Hitler was in a position of power, he attempted to turn Germany into a dictatorship. He got rid of most basic rights and made it were people can be punished for crimes with a trial. Having full control of all the branches of government, he made only his Nazi Party the only legal political party. At the day before Hindenburg's death in 1934, Hitler got rid of the office of the president and made himself the head of state. Hitler also tried to prevent marriages between German and non-Jews and Jews. Afterwards he started the holocaust to kill as much Jews as possible; he did that because he blamed Jews for the loss of Germany in
