How Did Galileo Prove The Idea Of Heliocentric
Geocentric is the idea that the Earth is the center of the universe; Heliocentric is the idea of the sun positioned in the middle of the universe. The Catholic Church believed and wanted others to believe we live in a heliocentric universe, because it made sense to their teachings. Those who tried to teach agents that idea were excommunicated. Galileo was a teacher and an astronomer during this time.He took a stand against the Catholic Church to prove that heliocentrism is wrong by inventing an improved telescope, teaching his ideas, and illegally writing his last book while on house arrest.
