The Korean War occurred after the Japanese occupation of the Korean Peninsula, it commenced in June 25, 1950, a conflict technically between the Communist North Korea (Now the DPRK) and the Capitalist South Korea (Now ROK), later transformed into a fight between the communist block on North Korea´s side and the UN led by the U.S on South Korea's side.
