How Did Ancient Civilizations Contribute To World History

The issue I am trying to address is that there have been so many ancient civilizations that contributed to world history that don't get enough credit. Throughout time their have been civilizations that have contributed to world history in their own unique ways. The Incan empire lasted just shy of a century in that time they managed to develop farming techniques, and sturdy architecture. The Aztec empire excelled from 1345 to 1521 CE. Aztecs required mandatory education to boys girls and slaves. Finally the one that lasted longest was ancient egypt which ruled for 550 years. Egyptians were able to create a paper like substance called papyrus. Ancient civilizations did contribute to world history and the ancient civilizations who I will …show more content…
Probably not many kids would rather do many things such as play and sleep. Aztecs required mandatory education for everyone boys, girls, and even slaves. Boys and girls went to different schools and learned different things. Girls learned how to be mothers and boys learned how to behave. School was based on classes poor go to one school rich go to another. It was effective because it went by what the child was talented for example, if a boy was good at math he would learn to be an engineer. Aztecs also contributed medicines that will help in surgerys. They developed antispasmodic medicine which relaxes muscles and stops muscle spasms. Now a days there are antispasmodic medicines for diarrhea, bladder problems, and more. These are the contributions to world history by the Aztecs.

Some may say that ancient civilizations did not contribute to world history because it happened long ago. This is false because everything developed takes time. Such as the fact that earth was not created overnight or that pangea spread overnight. Also theories such as the theory of evolution took time to become theories. The ideas of the ancient civilization were developed and made better overtime. This is why it is true that ancient civilizations did contribute to world

The importance of reproduction is evident in all societies since it is the only way that a civilization will continue to exist. Reproduction was extremely vital for the Aztecs to the point that men in the Aztec civilization envied females, not because they wanted to physically resemble them, but because they could not accomplish reproduction. While the Aztec civilization was patriarchal, Paloma Martinez-Cruz claims that males suffered “vulva envy,” (32). “Vulva envy” basically meant that men envied women for having an uterus and being able to produce offspring and women’s menstruation (Martnez- Cruz, 32).
