What is culture? How is it important to our lives? Culture, according to the textbook, means "the total knowledge, altitude, and behaviors shared by and passed on by the members of a specific group." Culture can be shaped and developed, shared, and changed overtime. This is important because culture benefits our ways of life. culture can include food/shelter, religion, language, educations, etc,. This is the reason why how does culture shape and develop, spread, and change over time.

You might be asking yourself, how does culture develop? Culture can be develop in many ways. The most popular way is to believe in something or worship whoever they are. Language and religion plays an important role of spreading culture. Language is one of the most popular aspects of culture because it allows societies to communicate with each other. Language can be spread through trading with other merchants or migrating to a new area. Trade routes can spread language when traders meet and discover a way to communicate with each other. Religion is also a big aspect of culture . It can spread across the world through diffusion and converts. How does it work? Religion can be taken with traders who are trading with other foreign traders. These two groups of very different people with very different lifestyles will learn each other religion. These trader will go back to their homes where they tell people the homeland about the different languages and religion from other countries. Another example is when the Europeans coming from Europe landed in the shores of the Americas. These explorers meet the natives that are living there and convert them into Christianity.
