NO. Writing is different in every working area basically depends on the type of paper or letter you are planning to write.

Typical work environment writing skills are: emails, formal business letters, internal memos, reports, sales presentations.

3. why does revising take more time than any other part of the process?

Because the writer has to proofread, evaluate, and edit. Make changes if necessary.
